Privacy policy
Sampai is a reminder app for Android. It is built so that your reminders never leave your phone. This page explains exactly what the app stores, what it sends, and why.
Who is responsible
Sampai is developed by Haziq, an individual developer. Contact: sampai.app.support@gmail.com.
The short version
- Your reminders, history and settings are stored only on your phone.
- There is no account and no sign-up.
- There are no ads, no analytics and no trackers.
- The only data that leaves your phone is what Google Play needs to process a purchase of Sampai Pro, described below.
What is stored on your phone
Reminder titles, times, repeat rules, nag intervals, the record of when each alert rang and when you marked it done, and your settings (theme, language, text size and similar). This data is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. We cannot see it.
Purchases
Sampai is free to use. Sampai Pro is sold through Google Play, which acts as the merchant and processes your payment under Google's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
To check whether Pro is unlocked, the app uses RevenueCat as a processor. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt from Google Play and a random, anonymous app user ID generated on your phone. It does not receive your name, email or reminders. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Permissions and why they are needed

| Battery optimisation exemption | Optional. Stops some phones from delaying reminders to save battery. You grant it from the reliability check. |

| Internet | Only to confirm a Pro purchase with Google Play and RevenueCat. Your reminders never leave your phone. |
None of these permissions give the app access to your contacts, location, photos, files or other apps.
Export and deletion
You can export all your data to a plain file from Settings at any time, and import it on another phone. The file goes wherever you choose to save or share it; the app does not upload it anywhere.
Uninstalling Sampai, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes everything the app stored. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing further for us to delete. For purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat, email us and we will help with a deletion request.
Children
Sampai is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
